Dr. Roger Hendrix
From a life of physical hard knocks and serious family problems to a life of extraordinary accomplishments.

Roger was born to parents who were alcoholics. At the age of seven he contracted polio. At the ripe old age of eight to cope with this indiscriminate virus and to deal with his family issues he started developing innovative methods to put him on a path that would take him to a life that he painted for himself. He began bending and creating his future. In bending his future he learned how to move the environment by imposing his will on it to reach anything he could imagine, proving a person can overcome heavy barriers and achieve out of the ordinary accomplishments.

Today, Dr. Hendrix is an entrepreneur, strategic planner and futurist. Daily he empowers individuals, teams, and community and corporate leaders to see the future, to seize opportunities, and to strategically move forward quickly. He skillfully explores the emotions involved in modern life and clearly paints a picture of what you must to do to make it comprehensible. He helps you demystify the future so that it’s not so mysterious, empowering you to strategically approach it and not only take advantage of it, but thrive.

Roger is the Founder and President of Hendrix Consulting, and accomplished public speaker and Host of Empower U with Dr. Roger Hendrix, an enlightening new radio feature being distributed to stations around the country. He is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach, holds his Masters in Educational Psychology from Brigham Young University and received his Doctorate in Educational psychology from the University of Southern California. He has contributed countless articles to major consumer and management magazines as well as newspapers and is about to publish his fourth book, Diary of a Mad Strategic Planner later this year. Prior books include The Idea Economy (1995 with Robert Brazell), Choosing the Dream: The Future of Religion in America (1991), and Leverage Point (1985).
